grabbed some weedless rof 12 huddleston 68s, 4 new rats and 1 used rat recently. the spro rat has been a staple for me. combat rats are, interesting. we will see how they hold up to big pike and musky in '26

A friend was flying down for the weekend, and had room in his bag, the Monkey wouldn't let an opportunity go by.  I was able to get a Tackle Warehouse order in at just over 50$ for free shipping and Sieberts Outdoors included a free pack of Rage Bugs in my order.  I decided to try a new color Ole Monster.  I don't know how well the bass are going to like Tilapia Magic, but I'm completely sold.  I have never seen the color before, and I was hooked the minute I took one out of the package. If the bass like it half as much as I do, I am going to have a good day. 

 

Got one last visit from the tackle fairy this year. The SB 105s (called the shorty over here) were on sale so I got a couple already thinking of warmer days. That chartreuse shad color got me my PB in the 125 size.

 

@king fisher I like tilapia magic too. It catches fish, and it’s on sale fairly regularly near me.

Susquehanna Fishing Tackle had some stuff on sale I've been looking at for a while.

Wanted to try the Flex Gill and Drift Fly's and they had em on sale.

Needed to add some other stuff for free shipping.

I've tried blade baits and haven't caught on them, just lose em on snags, going give em one more try.

I cleaned up on the Smeltinators , most of the damage before the prices went up. I have probably 20 pack that were all under $3. Flat worms for $3.19. It was fun while it lasted !

I think they had a 40% off everything deal not too long before BF…I’m hopeful that we’ll get another week to blow obscene cash on unnecessary tackle hahaha

Credit card is patiently waiting for something similar. The big plus was its stuff I restock during the off-season.

@Tackleholic I like them for everything except dragging on the bottom because of that lip. A buddy put me on to these things, he absolutely destroys just fishing 3 to 4" swimbaits on 3/16 to 1/4oz heads. I wish the 1/4oz size would come with a 4/0 instead of a 3/0, but aside from that they're okay especially for the price.

 

Also, there's a lot of the US market stuff that we don't get here and after ordering from TW and adding local taxes and fees and stuff stop being viable alternatives. Doesn't mean I don't get some it from time to time, though... 😅

8 Bagley B1's and 2 Norman Speed N's.  That's it!  I've reached some sort of milestone.  Never heard of the Speed N's, but they are a direct knock off of the Speed Trap, and that color (bottom left) sold me.

Ordered the Tatula Elite AGS Hair Jig Rod for $220 from the Tackle Trap.  It was labeled a store demo but it is wrapped and does not look like it's ever been used.  I've only caught a few bass on hair jigs so I wasn't going to get a Steez or NRX.  This rod was $100 off with great reviews so I decided to give it a shot.  

Got some Z Man Chattershads for $3.74 a piece. Fell in love with the Elaztech but haven’t used these yet.

I ordered an Ark Gravity 8 baitcasting reel off their site for 259 with a coupon. Hopefully it will cast far on my Jordan Lee swim jig/jig rod. It's 7 feet 3, so it should launch them lol. I also got 16 lbs of Gamma Edge line, and also 8 lbs with the 12-day Christmas sale they got going. 

Took advantage of the Kistler 70% off reels sale. I know the Feather Chromiums are likely rebadged from a Chinese producer (although their website claims Trey Kistler and Beau Reed helped develop the updated ones?) but been wanting to give a LH reel a shot for frogging and a 6 oz, 200-size reel with 19 lbs drag for ~$90 seems like a good place to start.

I hope trying a lefty reel works out better for you than it did me. Mine didn't even make it to the lake before I listed it for sale 🤷‍♀️.

LOL- I'm in the process of selling a left handed reel since I've used it so infrequently over the last 3 years.

Lucky me.  I took advantage of the Edge sale and was lucky to get the new Epitome EXO 673 Spin in stock.  I dropped by my local family owned sporting goods store and they had Abrazix for 12.97 to 14.97 depending on test.  I’m going to grab some more. What a deal.
