Freedom from the British and Freedom from the ICU!

Glad to hear she is making a turn can get more sleep.  It's oddly one of the few things hard to come by in a hospital.

Still thinking about you both. Hopefully you can get in to see her soon.

Update ~ 19 July.

Lynn remain hospitalized at Henry Ford down in Detroit.

Still receiving 3-4 hour dialysis treatments every other day.

Reduce Kidney & renal performance demand it.

Future plans are to bring her home her home early this week.

She'll still need to continue with her treatments but we are super fortunate that there is a local

facility ready, willing and able to take care of her current needs.

Any remnants of my bout with Covid seemed to have passed

but I did manage to tweak my lower back pretty good a week ago.

Still working through that one but I am able to train so that's helping.

The hits just keep coming.

These are the good old days.

I was going to crack a joke about ‘lover back’ but I’m just glad you two are still swinging. Good to hear.

A-Jay you both will keep doing whatever it takes. It’s nice to hear from you. Even in the midst of this, it’s easy to tell you are still counting your blessings. I wish better health to y’all!

I'm sure with Lynn home, even having to take trips for her treatments, it'll reduce your stress level. Give her a hug from us...and take one yourself.

A-Jay, I've been sending good, positive thoughts your way, and will continue to do so.

Happy to hear @A-Jayyou two are doing better and Lynn will be heading home soon. And take care of yourself, that lower back deal is not fun.

21 July ~

JUST found out Lynn is coming Home To-Day.

I'm both wildly excited and quite apprehensive, but we'll get through it.

Mean while, guess who is blasting around trying to getting 'the house ready' for her return ?

This Guy !

I've got about 6 hours, and the dogs are not helping.

Hope I make it  . . . . . .

Thank you all very much for the support.

Andy, I know it probably feels like you don't have enough time to get everything done before she's home - trust me, with the number of times Nora's been in the hospital for one thing or another, I've been where you are now.

Try not to stress it, get the important things done, minor crap can be done later.

DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE.

You got this, pal.

Guarantee the house could look like a tornado hit and she will still be incredibly happy to be home again. Not going to matter to her as much as it probably does to you. Do what you can but don't drive yourself down.  More important you are spunky for her when she gets back.

Glad to hear she's getting out!  Been thinking about you two.

Thank you both very much

and I know you're right.

I'm good.

She would never let me come home to anything less than her best effort and I am obliged to do the same.

She did her part in getting healed enough to come back to me.  Which pales in comparison to whatever I do here.

Life is the Ultimate Challenge.
