Whose shoes...?

Featured Replies

Whose shoes would you like to fish in? Of course, there are obvious picks, like @A-Jay and @king fisher with their giants, but pick the less obvious fisher and please explain your choice.

I choose @Team9nine. I like that he fishes a variety of ponds. They're sized like the farm ponds of my childhood, so there's that nostalgic tug, but all the banks of the ponds he fishes are mowed, so it's like a walk in the park, unlike my mix of mud, boulders, and brush where I fish. I also envy his consistency. Plus, he has cool pants.

Can we get a list of what shoes everyone wears?  Brands,  shoe size,  and how old they are.  ?

Seriously.  I’d say @Catt.  I’ve looked at contours maps of Toledo bend.  That place looks like a structure fishing paradise.

WRB.  To watch and learn jig fishing from the best.

All of the ones y'all listed are great. I'll add @T-Billy to the list. He makes catching monster muskies look so easy. Plus, he has a cool hat. ?

Plenty of outstanding forum member choices on this one.

Both past & present.

It's sort of a toss up for me.

I'm throwing it back a little and going with @everythingthatswims  and @Fish Chris

Neither have been active here for a bit,

but when it comes to catching fish,

I like their style.

A-Jay, I don't know those members. Can you share a bit about they fish?

All of @everythingthatswims content is still available here.

@Fish Chris content also seems active however many of his mostly insane pics are not.

Here's a sample . . .

No photo description available.

I wanna catch 450 bass a day out of heavy cover like @ol'crickety!!!

@WRB for sure. Although I wouldn't want to fish IN his shoes - he can keep em on and I will just fish next to him and learn about big baits and jigs. The two techniques I fish most of the time.

I don't want to be in anyone's shoes but there's a bunch of people I'd like to either take fishing, or go fishing with.   I won't list them because I'm sure I'd leave someone out.

There are some awesome sticks here! I’d make an embarrassment of myself fishing with most.

Couldn't pick just one

@roadwarrior for some big Ole Smallmouth

I know @A-Jay catches some big brown fish but we would have to go south of the border.

Definitely Steve @Big-O Parks.

There are however a couple dozen I would love to throw something on the pit & reminiscent with.

@whitwolf to see his Rebel collection

I'd cook @WRB & @Team9nine a pot of gumbo & look through his memorabilia.

being I don't wear shoes when I fish I'll try on Catts for size.Kinda reminds me of my friends that I fish with now.

Woo! There’s the fish, and the hat. You’re the man!

@Catt and @WRB. There are others, those 2 are my top picks, honorable mention @A-Jay

This guy here.

I could never pick just one. Too many good sticks among this group. So I'll say A-Jay, Catt, WRB, and Team9nine. All for the obvious reasons.Ill add Dwight Hottle and T-Billy as alternates. Those are some big shoes to fill.
