Haha. I had to order some cheap blanks on Amazon to practice on. I’ve got too much free time on my hands and try to do all the things. There may not be any pics depending on my painting ability!!

Great fishing bag with rod holders at one side and so many pockets and seven 3700 box in it and on top of that has wheel. I got it as boat bag.

Bargain bin at Walmartians.

Normally $1.25 per 5 pack.  These are half off.  That puts them at 12.5 cents per stick bait.

Black Orochi.

I had to replace a popmax through a freak accident. That definitely hurt. I took the opportunity to add the Black Orochi color to get me closer to free shipping, of course. It's really an exotic looking bait. The golden underbelly with speckled black is unexpected.

With the shallow water brown bass bite  just around the corner, I went all in on the SK Hybrid Hunter Jr. and Shallow.

Looking forward to seeing if the hype is real.  Baits seem like the right size and if I can get them far enough away from the Lund, I may have another breezy day option.

We'll find out.

Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on it. I picked up a couple of them a while back but haven't gotten around to throwing them yet.

Picked these up today. Some green pumpkin, green pumpkin shad, Bhite delight, and a fire craw thrown in for good measure.

Free shipping and 30% off sales at BBB keep getting me. Every low light/night fish I caught in SC earlier this year came on this color. Plenty of bites too. We'll see if those results transport here.

I'm looking to get a few expensive things. Tuned Up custom rods, I believe in Minnesota has an eighth foot medium light extra fast action for $280.00 plus another Diawa Tatula spinning reel. Even though I have plenty of ultra light rods, most are under six feet.

Those sticks look pretty nice.  My only gripe would be the lack of a 'jiggin handle' which has become a staple for me.

I've always been a fan of rebel lures, especially for their versatility in small creeks and rivers. I saw these at my local Meijer (large grocery store similar to Walmart, for those not familiar the Midwest). Can't wait to try these out. (I already know the Wee-Craw works wonders.)

Nice find. That tan Wee Craw is a good producer. I’ve searched for a few years for that tan in a Deep Wee and the larger model craws but they are a no find. Don’t worry about your missed hookup they will come. Those shallow square bills will get crushed by smallies. Bit of old school there. Good luck.

Speaking of the Wee Craws, have you seen the new matte finishes Rebel is releasing on that line of baits? One of the best looking finishes I’ve seen in a while. I don’t even throw the baits, but am still tempted to buy a few - lol

I don’t know if it will catch fish but it caught me.   Looking for a place to buy now.

Read back through the press release, but just said releasing this year. MSRP is $6.99. Also said, “Rebel Crawfish models getting Matte Series colors include the original Wee-Crawfish, Deep Wee-Crawfish, Middle Wee-Crawfish, Teeny Wee-Crawfish and Deep Teey Wee-Crawfish. Matte Series Crawfish colors are Gully Craw, Rusty Craw, Tiger Craw and Winter Craw.”

Stocked up on a bunch of OutKast jigs. TW gets me every time they’re on sale.

Thanks for that heads up. I’ll dig into it during the winter. I’m game for a couple of new patterns. They have been a producer on the river for me the last 40-50 years. Glad to see Rebel do something a bit more positive.

I’ve seen where Rapala has introduced a new line of Shad Raps, they may be calling them Elites or something like that. They have a wire or a reinforcement in them. On smaller sizes like 5’s 7’s and 8’s I’m not quite sure of the thinking on that. Not a true musky size in my mind and if fishing bass or walleye with them and a Musky, Pike or big Pickerel would be more apt to break or teeth cut your line or leader. If you didn’t loose your lure I could see balsa wood possibly getting damaged. Any river Musky that I’ve caught and landed by accident while bass fishing has not damaged my lures. But I can see the reinforcement used for toothy critter sized lures. Maybe I’m seeing something wrong.

Not exactly a monkey purchase but I was given a $50 Amazon gift card through my health-care for getting a physical. So I needed some line and saw this on Amazon for $58 for 200 meters. Digitaka sells it for $78. Crazy price for line. I wouldn't pay that much for it but for $8, I think I can swing that.

This is supposed to be the best YGK makes. We will see.

TW sale stuff, mostly restocking essentials. Even the sale price on the vmc tungsten 2 packs sucks but I really like the baitkeeper on them compared to my normal keitech balls that have to be superglued to survive 1 fish.

Perhaps I'm late to the party, but I just saw Zoom's 'Winged Fluke' - seems to be their plastic's Sakamata Shad

This primate is making my wife really mad…when she says something about it, I blame the VA for not giving me hearing aids.

Stacked the TW newsletter discount with the River2Sea 30% flash sale on TW and got a tactical wake, a spro rat, a couple of double plopper buzz baits and a few nest raiders. Never tried these before, but at around $3, I couldn’t pass them up. All of this was just a hair over (less than $5) $100.
