@Pat Brown That Teckel shark is an open water gem.  It walks so easily you can dance it in place, preferably right over their head.  Don't sleep on it.

Father’s Day present from Mrs B. just arrived from Japan via Amazon. This Alphas is a pretty little reel and will probably be replacing my trusty old Type F slinging senkos.

I was low on lucky crafts, Also I wanted to try the GRAT  always. plus some pink grub and tuna blood for next week saltwater fishing.

Been wanting to try the 13 Fishing Power Slide when it was first released a few years back. I never got around to getting one but then I was watching a Whatnot auction and they put one up for cheap so I snatched it up. I've been so impressed with it, I ended up getting 2 more off eBay. 

 

You can still find them but not sure for how much longer, since Rapala bought them out and looks to have squashed most of their baits (definitely all their hard baits). 😡

1 daiwa prorex 8’6” mh regular rod , I know that it’s a musky rod. Although it seems to be soft enough for trebles and stiff enough for top hook swim baits.

Wanted to try the Plano frog box for a while but the price was a little obscene even by Plano edge standards. TW had it marked $10 off plus the 15% 4th of July sale made it a little more palatable 

Bait Monkey got me pretty good today. The biggest expense was a long sleeve Tshirt to fight the sun, but wanted to try some of these swimbaits everyone is talking about, 

 

Academy kept throwing stuff in front of my face and like a first year bass, I bit on every single one. 

 

I just got off the phone with the bait monkey. He called to tell me personally that he appreciates me…

Picasso Tungsten Little Spotty. Awesome little finesse jig. I usually use them when targeting smallies, though don't know why. They're great no matter what kind of bass you're after. It has 3 small titanium weed guards that works really well.

TW sale got me today….kind of.  I have been eyeing the 6’-8” Physyx Casting rod and TW had a 15% off sale.  I have been waiting for my CC rewards to equal the cost of the rod so with 15% off, hey now!  I did not buy it from TW though, I called my favorite store in Pa (Susquehanna Tackle) and they said they would price match it.  Sweet!  It will be here tomorrow and I am sure I will be fishing it Sunday.

New rod showed up this morning, I already have it paired with my recent Curado BFS purchase.  Can’t wait to give this thing a run.

Definitely interesting.  You'll have to report the performance of this rod after some time with it.  St Croix went all-in with this series and is offering 17 casting models.
