Rockhopper
Mail call! Also just picked up this backpack from Cabela’s. Tons of space. I have 12 total 3600's that fit in it.

Rockhopper
That pack fully loaded is way way way too heavy for bank fishing. 😂  I actually have the small Cabela's sling pack for bank fishing. Use it once in awhile bass fishing, always in the kayak, and mostly for steelhead bank fishing when I am not in the drift boat. Comes with (and holds) two 3600's, and enough room for about 10 bags of plastics. Perfect for a few hours of fishing. Hard to beat for the price.

Lol. It holds almost all the tackle and baits I own. It's pretty heavy. I take it off when I get to a spot, fish, and then pick it up and move on. Although, when I wade the river, I wear it the whole time.

Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted June 21 Super User Share Posted June 21 Bought a pack of Bellow's Gill 3.8 a month or two ago.......was very worried about their durability.......make a few casts, catch a small fish on one, and immediately the bait goes flying off with its first jump.  So much to like about the bait, the SAF material, the design, but ultimately their is no way I'm fishing a bait that cost over $1 per bait, and lasts only one fish.    Hopefully the Deps Bull Flat are more durable, gonna try those one of these days.

OHBuckets
5 minutes ago, softwateronly said: Prepare to be 1/3rd as disappointed....  scott I hear several complaints about the durability of Bellows Gills, Shads and Sticks - I personally don't see it that much. I put them on an Owner CPS Twistlock and don't have many issues at all.  Last Bellows Shad I had on caught me 8 decent largies, with nary a tear in the bait. Fished it the next day too until I cut it off to try something else (plus, scent was largely gone at that point).  Also caught several largies on the 3.8 Stick, before a tear. But still, certainly more than one bite per bait  My dog loves the smell  I'd rather smell Geecrack than Missile or Gambler, but I like them too

I like your style. I traded credit card points today for my latest one, but then had to buy some more varivas pe, horizon heads, deathadders, and a little diawa spoon. It's such a great reel for M-ML applications and love the current price at digitaka. I recently followed @bulldog1935's advice and did a zillion bearing upgrade and roro x27 spool for a zillion and got an abu garcia Kurodai 7'3ML for true 2-3g bfs fishing. I need to be done for awhile, till the points rack back up or I blow thru all my line learning how to handle a high speed spool.  scott   @AlabamaSpothunter and @OHBuckets I was being slightly tongue in cheek, they're not terrible, but I certainly can't call them durable. Maybe it was just the aggression level of the fish I was catching, on those days I sometimes switch to cheaper/easier baits to source when they really like it, my last couple times I just rode out the bite going thru most of what I have. Cps does seem to help but you can also backslide rig if the nose is toast but intact.  scott
