Had a relatively new spinning reel fail internally that wasn't cheap.

So ordered a reliable Honda, Shimano Sahara 2500.

You know what makes me mad?? The colorway they have on Tackle Warehouse’s landing page isn’t a color that is even sold. It looks like a lavender shad by 6th sense.

Decided to try something different. 
 

Looks big, but fishes small. Fills the hand very nice and the knobs spin forever. The knobs are aluminum with a carbon overlay. It’s also much lighter than you’d expect. If it doesn’t work, I’ll report back on it. 😁

It’s 98mm thou they also offer an 88mm. I don’t have a part number. You can find it on their website. They do offer it for Daiwa and Shimano both. I’ve seen them with red accents as well. Or.. order from China like I did. 

Small order, mostly terminal stuff, nothing to too exciting. I am very curious though how the tat elite spool will perform in the newest tat 100.

Just ordered a Daiwa Regal LT 2500 with a Shakespeare ultralight 5’6” rod for small creek fishing from Scheels.

I have that rod...it's no med-lt.  Fishes like a M+, but I like it 👍.  Nice crispy, sensitive blank.

Omnia has 25% off bulk spools and I'll need to re-line a rod or 6 this season. It would have been irresponsible NOT to buy 1000 yard spool of 10 lb InvisX; 600 yard spools of 12 and 15 lb InvisX, and 660 yard spools of 18 and 20 lb Sniper, right?? And you have to buy a few MegaBass SV3s when you realize Omnia has them for pretty much the same price as the Booyah Coverts, right? And if you don't try a spool of the new Almight sinking braid, you're not really a basshead, right?
