Picked up the 3700 Plano Edge box on sale to carry terminal tackle for vacation last night. Today we went to a store run by a group that does estate sales and picked up a lowrance Fish Lo-K-Tor. Probably overpaid at 12 bucks but it is a cool man cave and future lake house piece.

Geecrack Gills are awesome, caught a fat smallmouth using it as a trailer on a swimjig. Great action, I've had success on the swinginghead too.

My journey to hoard/collect all thing's GG Perch, I present: Vision OneTen+1 Jr, FlapSlap & X-Wave. Apparently there's a distinct retrieve for the FlapSlap, I spent the afternoon with it, and still haven't figured it out.

Local tackle store got a shipment in of the new Sleeper Gills. Couldn't resists grabbing a half dozen of them to test out. Cant wait to see how these do.

Had some DSG gift cards, so I got some stuff. New chest waders, etc. I'm finally feeling the Ned rig since picking up some weedless ewg ned bullet head hooks. I can actually get these through the forest of weeds I fish in which is impossible with shroom heads. After just a handful of dinks, I'm already fantasizing about chasing down one of @Team9nine's intergalactic Ned rig records.?

The Googan Neds with rattles look interesting, and I've been doing well with Zman coppertruese TRDs, so more is better.

Have you tried the grandebass rattlesnake?  If so, I'd like to know how it compares to the bellows stick.  With this exchange rate, there's no slowing down on the jdm purchases for me ?

I haven't tried those yet but it does look similar. I think in my neck of the woods,  the fish like taste of Geecrack baits. I have lost fish bringing them in, only to have them come back and hit the same bait again on the same cast.

A tip for the Bellows Gill..... I have been killing it on this bait his year. I have used the 2.8 as a jig trailer (jigs with a medium sized hook) and when you cast this bait sort of lob it under hand.  When it hits the water, it will sound like a fish jumping.  I can't explain it but when you hear it, you will know and so will the fish. They will hit as soon as it hits the water.

One other thing, they almost float without a weight, which isn't a bad thing. They take forever to get down to the bottom of 10-15 feet of water. I have very slowly reeled them in and have also fished them like a spoon or a jig. All have worked great.

That’s awesome. I was a little bummed that’s there’s only 3 big ones in the package. So hopefully they last.

I saw that the first time I purchased them.  There is video somewhere that shows the size differences. The 5.8 is huge. Getting only 3 makes them pricey. I did catch 5 fish on a 3.8 last weekend. Fished it for about 3 hours and it's still usable.  If the smell goes down,  I just rub it around in the bag.

The 3.8 has been my go to size though. Dark Matter has been my favorite color so far but I have caught fish on all the colors I have tried.

Latest purchase that I decided was worthy of posting lol.

5 packs 4.5 robo worm fat

hologram shad

Aarons pro shad

sxe shad

prizm shad

Ehrlers edge

1 pack robo worm 4.5 straight tail

mm3

1 pack 6 straight tail morning sunrise

4 scum frog trophy series

fire tiger

Green tea

shameless shad

new moon

3 packs owner down shot hooks

1/0,2/0,3/0

2 packs owner ultra head wacky

1/32, 1/8

1 pack owner down shot

1/16

1 pack rage chunk

black blue flake

1 pack Rage craw

bama craw

1 beast coast lil magnum jig

3/8 black

2 small dark sleepers

1/4 haze, 3/8 wakasagi

1 pack damiki air craw 4”

watermelon candy

I am extremely partial to owner terminal tackle lol, lately I have been on a real robo worm kick. Thank you drop shot, also I decided to try some scum frogs because I have heard good things on this site about them. I can’t walk the trophy series very good or at all except maybe once yesterday, I do pretty good with other frogs but these seem different. Oh well a new challenge to overcome and improve.

Stopped into a decent JDM shop earlier today looking for Sleeper Gills, walked out with 2 Sonicside GP Pro Perch and PM Ghost Shiner for cold water and a pack of dropshot baits in Goby Bryant. By far my most productive finesse pattern for ned, wacky and now dropshot.

ps I’ll be using both ?

Just placed a pretty good order on TW that I’ll get pictures up of on the 22nd!

I was browsing my local tackle store and lucked into this beauty and snatched it up.  Some of us just get lucky I guess.

Little order from @Siebert Outdoors. Never tried their jigs, and got tired of losing $15 jackhammers so I bought the Fogy pack and a handful of other jigs. They look great, quick shipping as well. Can’t wait to get ‘em wet.

That reminds me of the jig and pig wrap that kept your pork frog from drying out.

I use the ones like this from Kastking and fill them with whatever scent I want when I leave a soft plastic on my rod and I switch from one bait to the next while fishing.  It most cases this is totally unnecessary but in my mind it keeps the bait smelly and it won't dry out.

Just in. Cara finesse jig rod. With a currado 150 mgl. As usual excited to try it out. Should be awesome.
