Who's bass fishing videos do you like on youtube?

Watch Glenn’s tutorial Video’s and MLF, Bassmaster tournament TV coverage.

Not into self grandiose videos, rather spend what precious time I have fishing my own way.

  • Lot's of channels mentioned already, some multiple times.  But not one word about the Bassresource YouTube channel.   I have some serious changes to make.

NDYak Angler!!! Both for my enjoyment as well as for the growth of fishing on the internet. A lot of the viral muskie catches you see on instagram and other social media are from his channel.

It's a tradition and a way for me to stay connected to my youth and better times.

I'm retired two years now from the FD and do the same thing.

I watch less bass fishing youtube than I used to. I will often put on a Bassmaster Elite Live Re-Run on the TV while I’m rigging or doing chores

I tried really hard to like B.A.D.  If they let me edit the show from what? 7 hours?  down to about 35 minutes,  I'd like it a lot more

YouTubers are there mostly for clicks, likes, views, and comments.

Look at me "and don't forget to like" gets said so many times I can't hardly take it anymore.

The thing that I don't understand about some YouTubers is their clickbait titles soooooooooo over promise. They'll lead with "BIG BASS" and then catch one three-pounder. Sure, a three-pounder is a solid bass, but if you can only catch one three-pounder and if you consider that a "BIG BASS," you probably don't deserve your make-believe fishing show.

None of them with any regularity…

…but have seen a video or two (or 3) from most of them on specific subjects of interest or curiosity. The exception - ‘39hrs’ (Uncut Angling - 2 seasons of shows) was the best fishing ‘show’ I can ever remember watching on YT.

I guess you could call me a "Youtuber" (LOL!  I really don't consider myself one), perhaps it might surprise you to know I DON'T watch any fishing channels.  That's intentional.  I don't want to copy others, or regurgitate what others have said or done, or try to be popular.  I just do me.

What you see is what you get.  No acting, antics, drama, or otherwise anything different that how I always fish, cameras or not.  I figure that's the easiest for me, because trying to do anything different would take work.

My heros are Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, and Hank Parker.  I'm blessed to know them all (I've fished with Hank and have had dinners/lunches with all of them many times), and they're the same in front of the camera as they are when no camera is around.  So I'm following their lead.

Unfortunately, I don't have their charisma, so my YT channel suffers.  I don't have the viewership as those other channels, despite having the channel for 16 years.  I'd love to be that favorite teacher everyone has from high school or college, but instead I'm that guy you learn a lot from but can't remember his name. LOL!

Ha ha!  I like it!  It's kinda like when your boss does something completely out of character.  I just might have to do it. LOL

Glenn's videos are the ones that I prefer.... when I watch a video I want to be educated and not told what to use.....

Dieter Melhorn Fishing and

Kayak Catfish are a couple of my favs.

I’d still rather be fishing than watching.

Engineered Angler and Marling Baits. I’m a woodworker by hobby and am getting into painting blanks currently, with hopes to make some of my own..

Check out Steve Rogers then - 70% of his are on bass behavior, the other 30% are bait comparisons to show you how they act - either action or color visibility in different conditions. He still lets you make your own decisions.

Too many to mention. I don't want to just watch someone catch fish or try to promote a particular lure(s) or rod & reel. Tell me all about your presentation and why. To include the specifics of your lure(s). And some talk entirely too much. Maybe they don't get to talk at home. I have gifted the moniker of "Breezy Wind" to several.

Randy B. is too dumb to realize if he got his way, and they did ban FFS, he'd have nothing to talk about and his channel would take a huge hit.

I have challenged him to put his money where his mouth is and get rid of all of his graphs, since anyone could consider those a form of cheating as well.

I don't watch him for his anti-ffs views.
