I had a friend many years ago who told me, You have what I need. It took me years to really grasp that statement.  Tommy had what we need.  What he gave us is priceless.  He was a pay it forward perso

RIP Catt.. May God bless you and your family. Big loss for all of us.

Godspeed Catt, sorry we never crossed paths on the waters of the Bayou State. Although I only knew you through this forum, you always came across as an admirable gentleman and fount of fishing knowledge that you always were generous in sharing. You will be missed.

d**n. My life has been crazy for the past year or so and I'm not on here as much as I'd like to be staying caught up on things, but this was an unexpected gut punch to the highest degree. I was hoping it was a joke about LSU or something. One of the greats and he will be missed. RIP brother.

That would be a nice tribute, but you're a first ballot inductee yourself Tom.

Sad news indeed.😢

Rest in peace Catt.

Probably my favorite poster to ever read. Sorry to see this. God bless you and your family Catt.

Yes he did!

He didn’t try to make himself out to be someone he wasn’t.
He answered questions and offered advice from knowledge and experience.

I’ll always remember our Big Game mono vs fluorocarbon discussions.
(He really loved that stuff)

I’m really gonna miss him.

Sad news, Catt was such a wealth of knowledge and experience. Could always count on him to give a unique perspective. RIP to one of the good ones.

So sad.  😥

Really enjoyed having him on this forum. He's the reason I have quite a few reels of Big Game right now and pay closer attention to my weights.

Going to miss having him around for sure.

Catt was one of those guys you felt like you actually knew just through conversation. This is a tough one. Gonna have to tie on a Stanley and reel one up for you bud

he will be missed by everyone ....Rest in piece Catt.........

Catt began following me shortly after I joined BR. He would always give good advice on my post. I always trusted his advice. He was one of the best guys here in BR.
