Help Us Celebrate 25 Years!

Featured Replies

Since BassResource first opened shop 25 years ago, we’ve been proud to be at the forefront of innovation, design, and technology in the fishing world. Our site has morphed through various changes throughout the years, but your passion for fishing has stayed strong.

Without the support of you —our hardcore BassResource members— we wouldn’t be the industry leaders we are today. That’s why we need you to join us in celebrating our 25th anniversary.

To celebrate 25 years of digital innovation, we’re asking you to help us name the top 25 bass fisheries across the globe. The list will celebrate the best bass fishing waters the world has to offer, and introduce anglers of all levels to bucket list big-fish locations as well as favorite local hotspots.

Through March 28, you can submit your favorite fisheries for consideration, share photos of your favorite honey holes, and then vote on nominations. The final list will be determined by YOU!
So post your nominations now!

Happy Anniversary BR.

For smallmouth fisheries the great lakes system & specifically Lake Erie.

Largemouth fisheries Lake Baccarac Mexico.

Florida state fisheries Rodman Reservoir.

Good to see BR last that long and still going strong.

Lake Minnetonka - good population of bass, consistently pulls 6-7 pounders in tournaments, ranked high on BassMaster's lists. Great northern fishery.

A silver anniversary is an achievement! Especially as many sites get sold or mismanaged and go downhill. Granted, I was not here 25 years ago, but as this site is one of (if not the) best sites I’ve seen at the present, hats off to you, Glenn, and your moderators.

Although I’m living in Texas now after 58 years in Maryland (minus three years in Delaware), and although I’ve never fished there, I remember reading articles in various magazines starting in the 70s about Lake Toho in Florida, so I’ll vote for that.

I'm going for an outside of the box pick here - the thousands of South Carolina Lowcountry lagoons. Here's why:

Typically when we talk about bass fishing it's about big lakes and anglers on boats. But there's a huge number of bank bound anglers with that same passion for bass fishing. That can be hard to do on big lakes with the banks lined with waterfront homes and the high fishing pressure in the public access areas.

But in the SC Lowcountry there are thousands of lagoons big and small and every one of them has the opportunity to have trophy bass living in those waters. It's a different type of ecosystem that has its own set of "rules" for locating bass. It's a fishing paradise for the bank bound angler.

Well didn’t twenty five years blow by. Congratulations Glenn to you and your better half for creating something truly special.  I think the Columbia River is one of the most unique fisheries ever. I will also throw Pot Holes in the mix because it gave me the most incredible sixty minutes of fishing I’ve ever experienced.
