I have an issue with Discount Tackle. They mark their stuff way up, so when they have a sale it looks like it's some great deal, when it's really not. For example, the Rage Bug, Rage Craw etc is $5.49 at TW. At Discount Tackle, they list them for $6.99 "retail".

I order from Discount Tackle a lot.  I just use tacklewharehouse prices as benchmark.  But the biggest thing for me is they are one of the few online retailers that do not charge me sale TAX in NJ which is a huge plus.  They also ship out really fast.  Down side is their inventory is hit or miss most of the time.

I just got my order. I did check all my prices against TW. Their sale price was still cheaper then TW so I went with it. 

The no tax is a great and $3.99 shipping is a plus for me.

I just got mine and it got here much faster than expected. The no tax is a selling point for me and I did check prices against TW. But i did notice they are missing quite a few colors of certain baits compared to TW and even my local sportsmans. 

Nonetheless, still got some good sale items. 

Just stocked up myself on Zman stuff from Discount this week. Sale prices were all cheaper than TW, most even below what you’d pay with their (TW) 15-20% holiday discount. Bought just enough to grab free shipping, and it arrived very quick. They were out of a few colors, but TW often is, too. Happy customer here...

@Siebert Outdoors has a sale on tungsten weights.  10% off his already excellent prices on tungsten.  I will warn you that I just bought all the remaining stock of two different weights in one of the colors/styles.

No need for tungsten weights yet, but I do need to restock my tungsten jigheads. Is there a free shipping code for order over $50? If not, I'll just wait for their holiday sales.

They do it with some stuff but not everything.  They've always been one of the cheapest places to get Jack Hammers.

Anyone that's looking for cheap real protection lurenet has 'lindy' branded baitcast reel covers for  $1.55 ea. The size is listed as 'small' however they do fit my 200b's with a little room to spare. Also to get to free ship at $25 i grabbed a few booyah flex2 cranks for 3.50 ea(only 2 colors at this price).

Oh I am never disappointed with their Black Friday or cyber Monday sales. I take well advantage of them being a Black card holder usually 3-5x rewards points during these sales. I usually don’t end up spending any of my own money, just take advantage of the points bonus.

I think DT retail pricing is inline with brick and mortar stores. I think we all shop at TW because their pricing is better than a brick and mortar, and their selection is awesome. But yeah I just ignore the retail redline number and look at bottom line and some of their clearance stuff is really good. I got a bunch of Z-man grubs once for like .79 per pack.

Someone who knew I love to fish gave me a Cabelas gift card for my birthday. I had to fake my enthusiasm.
 

I wound up buying waterproof boots on sale with it for bank fishing. It actually was a good gift.

they have some of the worst customer service in the industry and you'll wait months for your rod. It's not a product of the pandemic. They've been like this for years.
