any member on BR and for a pro? well he may not be a pro but if the top 5 pros were standing waiting for me to choose and i seen Mean Gene the Fishing Machine standing next to an outhouse i would pick mean gene.

I won’t name any pros as I have no real interaction with any. As far as members here?

@A-Jay I’d love some big smallmouth

@WRB Just to hear his tales in person

@TnRiver46 That’s a bass catcher

@roadwarrior Another bass catcher!

@hokiehunter373 Never met him in person, but have “known” him for years from bowhunting on an archery site. It’d be nice to fish with a friend

I imagine everyone would be a good time, but off the top of my head...

  • @A-Jay - his aura clearly has its own gravitational pull for giant SM. Pretty much a PB guarantee for that trip.
  • @Catt - legend and great angler plus I've never been in the south or fished for bass at night (past 10).
  • @Bluebasser86 -can't believe anyone consistently catches big fish like that in Kansas!
  • @TnRiver46 - pretty much guaranteed a great time, good grub, and funny stories.
  • @WRB - legend catching giants in CA, I'd need to record the whole trip to play back the education.

For the pros...

  • Brandon Palaniuk- his home waters are absolutely beautiful and full of nice bass.
  • Hank Parker- seems about as great of a guy as you'd ever have the pleasure to meet.
  • Jacob Wheeler- ridiculously good fisherman and seems like a good dude.
  • Butch Brown- not sure if qualifies as "pro" since he's not on the tourney trail, but there aren't many out there who know swimbaits like he does.
  • Would have been Aaron Martins but I'll sub in Mark Zona. He'd be nonstop entertainment and he knows how to catch fish.

I’d definitely have fished with him. He fished a lot of the same areas I have.

I’m definitely not able to pick just 5 as there is so much knowledge and therefore so much that can be learned from every member on here but in the spirit of the post here goes…Bulldog1935, A-Jay, Fish Tank, slonezp and Jig Rookie. As for pros Mark Zona, Al Lindner (or anyone associated with his shows), Hank Parker,Brent Chapman and although she’s probably not a pro Sarah Parvin who posts some of the biggest bluegill I’ve ever seen and are one my favorite fish to target.
